It’s 2018, if you are still a part of the dating scene, you’ve definitely tried at least one dating app.

When Bumble launched, what differentiated it from other dating apps was that women had to make the first move, or “message first.” If they didn’t within 24 hours, the match would disappear. Tinder on the other hand, men or women can message first and the match never expires.

According to a new report from MarketWatch, Tinder will be adding a new feature to their next update where ladies can enable the option to message first, just like Bumble. The only difference, ladies don’t have to enable it, they have the option.

This feature will be tested in certain cities before it goes live, no word yet on when the feature will be added.

As a dating app user, I like have the control to decide whether or not I want to enable the feature.
