An Amish man in Pennsylvania proved over the weekend that you don’t need a motor to receive a driving citation. The “Lancaster Intelligencer Journal” reports that Elmer Stoltzfoos Fisher was arrested for allegedly driving his buggy under the influence Sunday night. East Lampeter Township Police were notified when a witness spotted the buggy moving down the road at a very slow pace. When the authorities arrived they discovered the horse pulling the buggy down the middle of the road with the 22-year-old asleep inside. Police say Fisher displayed signs of intoxication, and he was later found to have a blood-alcohol-content of point-one-eight.
