Music’s biggest night takes place on Sunday and despite big names like Childish Gambino, Drake, Ariana Grande and Kendrick Lamar not performing or Taylor Swift and others even attending, there is one particular big name that will be in the house – BTS.
So what exactly will BTS be doing Sunday night? Well, we do know where they’ll be sitting as the Staples Center official Twitter account revealed a photo showing that J-Hope, Suga, RM, Jimin, V, Jin, and Jungkook will be sitting amongst Miley Cyrus, Dolly Parton, Camila Cabello and Anna Kendrick. However, the boys will be split into two groups when the lights go up inside the arena where LeBron currently plays.
Also, we do know BTS will be presenting an award during the CBS telecast but we don’t know what award they will actually present. Fans are more than excited to see them at the ceremony with the hashtag BTSxGrammys trending all over Twitter. More than likely it will be the most tweeted moment about the entire night – regardless of who even wins an award!
Even without an official nomination for their songs this year, BTS did gain a nomination for best recording package for their Love Yourself: Tear album. It makes the group the first Korean group to ever be nominated for a Grammy. The award recognizes the artwork of an album and is given to the art director (not the musicians or group members) but it’s still a pretty big deal!
Let’s see what happens when BTS takes the stage Sunday night.
