Puerto Rican reggaton artist Ozuna made YouTube history recently. The 26-year-old’s collaboration with DJ Snake, Selena Gomez and Cardi B in “Taki Taki” surpassed the one-billion view mark on YouTube, making it the seventh video from Ozuna to top the milestone mark. The move means Ozuna has more billion view videos on YouTube than anybody with seven. The previous record holder, Justin Biebr, has six.
“Thanks to all the colleagues who believe in me and always count on me, we continue here I love them and blessings to all, they are part of my success. I love my fans a lot and thank you for never abandoning me,” Ozuna wrote in the translated post.
Currently the Biebs, even if he’s taking a sabbatical from music has six videos which have racked up over a billion views beginning with “Sorry” (3.1 billion views), “Baby” (2.1 billion), “What Do You Mean?” (1.9 billion), “Love Yourself” (1.4 billion) and two features, one for Skrillex and Diplo’s “Where Are U Now” (1.1 billion) and DJ Khaled‘s “I’m The One” with Quavo, Chance The Rapper and Lil Wayne (1.1 billion).
Ozuna’s seven videos by comparison are his duet with Natti Natasha in “Criminal” (1.7 billion views), “Te Bote (Remix)” with Nicky Jam, Casper, Bad Bunny Nio García and Darell (1.6 billion), “El Farsante” with Romeo Santos (1.2 billion), “Ahora Dice” with J. Balvin, Arcángel and Chris Jeday (1.1 billion), “Escápate Conmigo” with Wisin (1.1 billion), “Se Preparó” (1 billion) and the aforementioned “Taki Taki” (1 billion).
