This should be epic (as well as terrifying). Star Wars legend Mark Hamill has announced that he’s lending his voice to the upcoming Child’s Play remake and he’s playing the demon doll that terrified us when we were kids.
“People let me tell you ’bout my best friend… The wicked fun begins when @ChildsPlayMovie is unleashed in theaters: Friday, June 21st 2019. #SoLuckyImChucky,” Hamill tweeted Saturday.
The message accompanied a brief clip of Hamill making the announcement himself saying, “I can’t wait to bring such an iconic character to life and present him in a way that you’ve never seen before. Chilld’s Play. This summer, we’re going to have some fun. And remember: he’s more than just a toy. He’s your best friend.”
The original 1988 movie was about a murderous doll and spawned multiple sequels including Child’s Play 2, Child’s Play 3, Bride of Chucky, Seed Of Chucky and Cult of Chucky.
