Week 2 of Coachella closed on Sunday and Justin Bieber made a surprise appearance!
The pop star joined Ariana Grande on stage to perform “Sorry” together and the Purpose singer told fans that yes, a new album was indeed on the way. It was Bieber’s first time on stage in nearly two years and instead of Ari reprising last week’s guests with *NSYNC, Nicki Minaj, Diddy and Ma$e, she kept it really low-key as to who her guest would be this week.
“Coachella, I wasn’t gonna bring any guests out tonight, but my friend Justin Bieber came all the way out to spend some time with y’all,” she told the crowd. “And we thought it might be fun to do something for you guys. This was not planned at all. Thank you for being here Justin, we love you so much.”
“I haven’t been on stage in like two years. I had no idea I was going to be on the stage tonight. Absolutely no idea,” Bieber told screaming fans after his performance. “So I had to get my groove back, I have to get my swag back, you know what I’m saying.”
“And, by the way… album coming soon,” he added.
