N.W.A. was the world’s most dangerous group. They changed the music industry. How did they do it? This August from producers Ice Cube and Dr. Dre you have to check out the new film “Straight Outta Of Compton” that tells the story of N.W.A.

Check out some fun facts below:

1.      LA Swap meets (Flea Markets) was where Eazy E discovered a song that Dre produced called “Turn Out The Lights” by the World Class Wrecking Cru. Through a local record store he was able to track Dr. Dre down and form the group.

2.      The D.O.C. ghost wrote a lot of verses and is considered the “fifth” member of the group.

3.      One radio station in Australia played F The Police for 6 months until authorities down there found out and asked them to stop.

4.      MTV raps didn’t want to film in Compton, the host Fab Five Freddy defied their request and took a crew to Compton to film an entire episode.

5.      80% of the sales of Straight Outta Compton were from suburban kids.

6.      The label Ruthless records was founded by Eazy E and Jerry Heller.

7.      Express Yourself was Dr. Dre’s  first solo song.

8.      Eazy E once had to bail Dre out of jail for outstanding parking tickets.

9.      Warren G is Dr. Dre’s step brother.

10.  Eazy E’s doctor on his death bed was named Doctor Young. Dr Dre’s name is Andre Young.
