This is potentially the last weekend viewers will watch the Houston Rockets on Comcast SportsNet Houston.

After a federal  judge approved a reorganization plan regarding CSN’s network bankruptcy in September 2013, DirecTV and AT&T now have the green light to launch their new sports network that will bring Rockets back to a lot more households.

CSN “…limited viewership of…no more than 40 percent of Houston area TV households,” to catch the Astros and Rockets according to Chron.com.

There has not been a formal announcement of when exactly the new network will launch but, “…there’s a clear path with no more legal obstacles,” said Rockets general counsel Rafael Stone.

AT&T and DircTV Sports Networks will now own the network known as Comcast SportsNet Houston as of Aug. 6, 2013.
