On Sunday afternoon, the wife of Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes was arrested for disorderly conduct, battery, and resisting arrest after being involved in a nasty skirmish before her husband’s game.
According to the New York Daily News, Miko Grimes was asked by cops on numerous occasions to leave a restricted area outside of Miami’s Sun Life Stadium. A belligerent Grimes declined to leave, resulting in cops using force to calm her down. AP reports that Grimes screamed profanities at the cops, charged at them, and landed a head-butt on one of the officers before being placed into submission.
“F–k you, cops. You can’t tell me what to do,” she yelled.
After being placed in a bear-hug, she tapped out and was taken into custody. Grimes suffered a handful of injuries to both her arms and knees.
This isn’t the first time Grimes has found herself in the middle of an NFL-related controversy. Last year, she berated former Dolphins player Jonathan Martin and went on a scathing Twitter rant crushing the league.
To make things worse, her hubby’s team ended up taking the L to the Buffalo Bills 41-14.
