The Atlanta singer and songwriter publicly apologizes and openly discusses the drug charge against him in 2012.

Last Friday (November 13) CeeLo Green released his latest music project Heart Blanche, his first album after being accused of drugging and raping a woman in 2012. He was not charged with sexual assault, but did face charges for possession of ecstasy.

During an appearance on the Steve Harvey show, the singer apologized and thanks those who supported him through the difficult time.

He also details the lessons he learned from the incident and explains how he was able to channel his experiences into his art.

CeeLo was asked if he had the chance to speak to the woman involved.
