A new twist in the Bill Cosby lawsuit may have his wife testify against him.

According to Hollywood Life.com, Camille Cosby, can not be protected by marital disqualification, and will now have to testify against her husbandBill is being sued for defamation by seven women whom he called liars after they accused him of sexual assault.

Camille’s scheduled to be deposed for the women on Wednesday, January 6th.

The lawyer for the seven women, argued in December that he had the right to secure Camille’s deposition because she could have “information that’s relevant to the litigation in this matter.”
Camille and Bill’s lawyer rejected that claim, filing a motion on December 18 to stop the subpoena because they called it “nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to pressure defendant in the face of subjecting his wife to the shame and embarrassment of responding to questions about his alleged infidelities and sexual misconduct.”
Today (January 4th) new reports stated Camille Cosby’s attorneys filed an emergency motion to avoid a deposition.
Camille has repeatedly stated that she’s going to stand by her man, no matter what.
