Auburn v LSU

Early Tuesday morning, LSU tight end Dillon Gordon was reportedly involved in a bar fight which led to the college football star sent to the hospital.

The event occurred in a bar near the university’s campus, but authorities are unsure of the cause of the fight.

Officials reported, a “22-year-old male victim was stabbed multiple times, while inside the business, during a fistic encounter.”

He was later sent to the hospital with non-threatening injuries.

Although authorities cannot confirm the cause of the alleged bar rumble, LSU head coach Les Miles released a statement through Bleacher Report, stating, “I am aware that Dillon Gordon was involved in an incident last night that required him to receive medical attention. Fortunately, the injuries Dillon sustained were not life-threatening and from all indications, he will make a full recovery. We are thankful that Dillon is okay.”

Gordon, a senior, missed a majority of the 2015 season due to an Achilles injury which eventually required him to get surgery. Upon returning to the field, he managed to obtain a singe catch for eight yards.

As bizarre as the alleged bar fight was, Gordon left unscathed. He tweeted around after 5:30 am:

The star plans to return the team upon recovering from his surgeries.
