eah Still, the daughter of NFL star Devon Still, won over all our hearts during her battle with pediatric cancer.

Now that she’s cancer-free, the daddy-daughter duo sat down with Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts on Friday to share what’s next for the five-year-old.

In June 2014, Leah was diagnosed with stage 4 pediatric cancer. Still, then a player for the Cincinnati Bengals, spent most of his time off the field and in the hospital with his daughter for every surgery and treatment she needed. Still raised awareness about the disease on his Instagram page as he shared their journey.

Speaking with Roberts, the proud father said he had to use his platform the best way possible.

ABC News reports:

“It was important to us, to be honest before my daughter was diagnosed with cancer, I didn’t know too much about childhood cancer,” Still said. “Just knowing I had the platform I knew I could reach a big audience and inform everybody what it’s like for a family to deal with pediatric cancer.”

The Bengals covered 100 percent of Leah’s hospital costs and announced that all proceeds from Still’s jersey sales would go to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to support pediatric cancer research. The sales totaled $1 million in just six weeks.

From there, #LeahStrong became the motto as the player continued to share updates about the chemotherapy, surgeries, and other treatments on social media.

Soon after her cancer was treated in May, Leah developed veno-occlusive disease (VOD), a reaction to the high amount of chemotherapy she endured. After an emergency surgery, she was released from the hospital in June. She also received the Jimmy V. Perseverance Award at the ESPYs in July, featuring a tearful speech from Still about how his daughter’s strength changed his life.

On Monday, Still announced on Twitter that it was official: Leah was cancer-free.

The athlete told Roberts he was thankful for all the love and support. Leah also exclaimed, “[I feel] really good” during the interview.

“I’m just thankful,” Devon Still told Roberts. “It was definitely a long road traveled. We definitely feel blessed and thankful that we have the doctors and the people around us to help us through this battle.”

So what’s up next? Still is now signed to the Houston Texans and will return to the field in March. Leah, meanwhile, is ready to go back to normal. She also mentioned her plans to go to Penn State, her father’s alma mater, and become a cheerleader for their football team.
