Rapper Chingy grabbed the attention of Twitter after his support for Donald Trump in a tweet.
The St. Louis rapper sparked outrage on Friday (Jan. 22nd) when he commented on Trump’s business knowledge in a news article. That same article neglected to highlight Trump’s more divisive policies, obviously.
Politics vs society. People should innerstand that politics is a business jus like the job you work at. I vote for @realDonaldTrump “YEP” 3

He added, “@realDonaldTrump knows how to conduct business. This country is a business an needs to be ran by a businessman. It’s not personal people!”
Later a video response came from Chingy to ensure to clarify his stance and backed away from his earlier support of Trump. He did well in explaining himself with eloquence, but the damage was done.
Everything I wrote has been taken completely out of context…but I’m trending though. lmao #LiveofACeleb #TwitterIsTheDevil #NoEndorsement

Chingy spoke about the mistake and apologizes for any confusion in the video below.
