Jesse Jackson Leads Rally Protesting Flint Water Crisis

More celebrities are contributing and pitching in to assist the Flint population from their current water crisis.

AQUAhydrate has pledged one million bottles of water to support the people of Flint, Michigan. The company’s investors, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Mark Wahlberg, teamed up with Michigan resident Eminem with Wiz Khalifa to help their cause.

The pledge also stated that AQUAhydrate will be delivered until the crisis is over. Combs and Wahlberg are urging more of their famous friends to join the cause.

AQUAhydrate is working closely with Michigan State Emergency Management and Homeland Security, Genesee County Emergency Management, the Red Cross, and local community leaders to integrate the product into ongoing water distribution and relief efforts.

The Game has been in Europe but close to the situation stateside. The rapper has donated $500,000 of his own money to Flint, according to Michigan Chronicle. He added that the water bottle company Avita Water will also donate the additional $500,000 on behalf of The Game’s charity, The Robin Hood Project.

Michigan born, Big Sean has donated as part of his #HealFlintKids campaign to help families with kids who have been exposed to toxic water, and Philadelphia emcee Meek Mill also provided 60,000 bottles to the Flint residents.
