If you watched the 2016 NBA Finals you witnessed a historic and heroic effort by Lebron James.

Let’s recap.

Back-to-back 41 point games while his team was on the brink of elimination to the Golden State Warriors.

Lebron lead the Cavaliers rally from a 3-1 series deficit to win the NBA Finals. The first time that feat has ever been accomplished in NBA history.

Lebron lead the Cavaliers (and Wrriors) in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, and blocks. The first time that feat has ever been accomplished in NBA history.

Lebron had a team-high 27 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks in Game 7. His triple-double was just the third in Game 7 of the Finals in NBA history.

Lebron is clearly the best all around player of this generation, maybe ever. But he falls short of Michael Jordan in the “rings” category. MJ 6 vs. LJ 3. All I know is would have loved to see these two go 1 on 1 in their prime.
