Last night (July 6), a Houston rap icon has tapped into his feelings and thoughts in a song speaking out against police brutality.
Slim Thug released a new track called “IDKY”, the Soundcloud track comes after the shooting deaths of Alton Sterling by Baton Rouge police and Philando Castile by a Minneapolis officer.
In the caption, Thug writes, “I remember thinking in the last few weeks this song might be too late cause it’s been a minute since the last one and look here we go again twice in less than 24hrs … #BlackLivesMatter.”
We understand the track will land on Slim Thug’s upcoming album, Hogg Life 4: American King, which drops in stores on August 4th. You can also pre-order Hogg Life 4 now via iTunes.
