50_cent_a_p50 Cent is being accused of allegedly stealing the television show Power, according to writer Curtis Scoon.

He went on Twitter to accuse the Queens MC and producer James DuBose of stealing the concept for his show, Dangerous, and turning it into Power.

Scoon has been working on Dangerous since 2008 and says he met with Fifty and rapper Maino to possibly develop the show. “Dubose informed his staff and [screenwriter] Byron, 50 Cent was interested in Dangerous and would be coming to his office for a meeting. I have the email,” he tweeted. “Sure enough Maino and 50 came to the office a few weeks later. I have sworn affidavits from people who were there.

Scoon, who previously denied a rumored involvement in Jam Master Jay’s murder believes that his reputation killed the deal.

Power, which premiered in 2014, follows the story of a nightclub owner doubling in the world of illegal drugs.
