Gustine, Texas is about 90 miles southwest of Fort Worth, Texas and has a population of less than 500 people, so you know most the people in this town probably know each other.

Monday found the small town dealing with a big controversy.  Elementary students at the Gustine, Texas were made to lower their pants for inspection after feces was found on the school gym floor, which has been an ongoing problem.

“I felt uncomfortable and I didn’t want to do it. I felt like they violated my privacy,” said 11-year-old Eliza Medina.

She was one of about two dozen students who were rounded up and separated amongst boys and girls.  They were then ordered to pull down their pants to check them to see if “anything” could be found.

Gustine Independent School District Superintendent Ken Baugh even thought it was going to far.  “That’s not appropriate, and we do not condone that. So you would take disciplinary action.”
