Though most folks recognize Brian Hooks from Eve’s self-titled UPN sitcom, in actuality he is a man of many trades. A producer, actor, stand-up comedian and director, he’s been churning out movies such as “3 Strikes” for years. He talks about how he ended up getting into acting from a small Californian country town smack-dab in between L.A. and San Francisco.

Brian talks about how nobody understood what he was doing once he started, because nobody was making and selling their own movies to distributors at the time.
