Snoop Dogg’s son Cordell Broadus will announce his college choice on ESPN and ESPNU on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. ET.
Like most fathers, Cordell’s dad has a strong opinion on which school his son should pick. Unlike most dad, Corell’s father is rapper Snoop Dogg and the process has been chronicled on an ESPN reality show, “Snoop & Son.”
“About to make that big decision on where he is going to go,” Snoop told For the Win on Saturday at the annual “Snooperbowl” in Scottsdale, Ariz. “That would mean the world if he went to USC and became a Trojan. Hopefully the coaching staff do their due diligence and get him on board.”
Cordell, ranked as the No. 14 wide receiver prospect in the country, is down to USC, UCLA, Arizona State and LSU.
The fourth episode of Snoop & Son will air on ESPN at 7 p.m.
Dan Margulis, ESPN’s director of college sports programming, told USA TODAY High School Sports that the final moments of the episode will feature Cordell’s announcement. The fifth installment of the show that will air in mid-February will feature behind-the-scenes footage from Signing Day.
