Radio One founder and history-maker Cathy Hughes talks about the honor of Howard University’s School of Communications being renamed after- her even though she was never a matriculated full-time student. She also reminisces about the interview she got to do with Louis Farrakhan, and some of her other favorite, well-known interviews from her network series, “One-On-One With Cathy Hughes,” which will re-air on TVOne on Wednesday.

She also opens up about her concern for the gun violence that plagues our youth nowadays, and not just in terms of police brutality, but in terms of the bloodshed that is going on in our neighborhoods between black youth, as well.
