Eminem’s first greatest hits album Curtain Call: The Hits, released in 2005, has sold more than 7 million copies and was certified 7x Platinum by the RIAA.
The album holds Em’s most popular cuts including his debut single “My Name Is” off The Slim Shady LP and “The Way I Am” off his 2000 project The Marshall Mathers LP.
The project also included a live version of “Stan,” a term that has become synonymous in pop culture for insane, hardcore fanatics (i.e. Beyhive) and the unreleased song “Fack.”
Shady also has fans expecting a new album after releasing a freestyle track called, “Campaign Speech,” which addresses police brutality and calls out Donald Trump.
Some new information has been leaked about the upcoming album. Reports suggest that the new album will be out sometime in January 2017. A leaked tracklist with logos of Shady Records, Interscope Records and Aftermath Entertainment appeared online with a couple of titles of the songs.
He also allegedly collaborated with Adele on the album cover song, Success.
However, Eminem has not given further details about the record aside from his announcement on social media. The rapper remains silent about the tracks, album title and the release date.
