A U.S. Airways flight from Philadelphia made an emergency landing at George Bush Intercontinental Airport Monday night after the plane’s front nose gear was inoperable.

The flight departed from the Philadelphia International Airport with 53 passengers on board.

“According to the FAA, the plane’s nose gear was in the “up” position. The pilot made several passes over the airport before successfully landing,” said USA Today.

The passengers used the emergency chute to exit the plane; no one was seriously hurt.
