It looks like the 76ers want to make things right with Sevyn Streeter (as they should). In an Instagram post, the 30-year-old singer gives her fans an update with the situation and what the organization and herself will be doing moving forward.
According to the post, she and the Sixers will “use this an opportunity to create positive change and dialogue throughout the community.” As part of this initiative, the team has reportedly pledged a donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Philadelphia.
According to the Associated Press, Streeter WILL perform at the Sixers’ home game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Dec. 16. And, yes, she WILL be wearing her “We Matter” jersey.
