Colin Kaepernick took the country by controversial storm a couple of months ago when he kneeled during the National Anthem before one of his 49ers games. He sparked a nationwide debate about protest and a much-needed conversation about race in America, and subsequently was praised by many, both famous and non-famous, for his very public and strong political stance.

However, apparently Colin Kaepernick did not vote in the presidential election this year. And while the debate rages on about how much non-voters actually did contribute to Donald Trump‘s historic win, Stephen A. Smith is not happy with Colin’s decision not to participate in the election. He went on an impassioned rant on ESPN about why the athlete doesn’t deserve any more of our attention.
