It’s been a long nine years but Chris Rock is back on tour once again.

Rock returns to the stage with his “Total Blackout Tour” slated for 2017. The veteran comedian took to Facebook Live to make the announcement to fans, which followed by tickets for particular dates already becoming available on Ticketmaster.

The actor said in the live footage, “First time in nine years, OK? I’ve been a little busy, you know, writing Pootie Tang 3 and everything, but it’s time.

Not only will fans be able to see him hit the road next year, but those who can’t make it to one of the shows will be able to still be able to see his routine, as he’s set to film his stand-up special during the tour.

May 13th 2017, Rock is slated to appear in Sugarland at Smart Financial Center; click here for more dates and info on this tour.
