More details in the hit-and-run involving former Death Row Records CEO, Suge Knight has been revealed.
In an report by TMZ, the website reports that authorities have stated that there was no gun or gunmen seen in the video footage of the incident, which took place late last month on a film set in Compton, California.
USA Today reported this week, that Suge Knight’s attorney, David Kenner claimed “an ambush” on the former music exec can be seen in the surveillance video. The ambush reportedly took place shortly before Knight hit two men with his truck, killing one of them.
The authorities states the video footage is contrary to what Kenner’s allegation.
TMZ also reported this week that Cle “Bone” Sloan, one of the men hit by Knight, can be seen pointing a gun at Knight in the surveillance video.
While speaking with USA Today, Kenner revealed that the footage will help in creating a defense against the murder, attempted murder, and hit-and-run charges, Knight faces. With authorities stating that no gun or gunmen can be seen in the video footage, TMZ reports that prosecutors also plan on using the surveillance video as “a cornerstone of their case.”
