TAT, TAT, TATTED UP: What Your Tattoos Will Look Like When You’re Old

I am not ashamed to say that I have FOUR tattoos. Although I got them at an early age, and even after my body had stretched to the size of a baby whale during pregnancy later (thank God it has retracted back), I still don’t mind the appearance of my tattoos. Well all, except for the one … well never mind.

Back in high school at the age of 18, I thought it would be a good idea to go with a group of my fellow senior classmates to get tattoos. Somewhere in my thinking, the mere act of skipping those last days of class and venturing to the tattoo parlor (or wait, did we go to someone’s house?) would seal the deal of me becoming ‘an adult’ and making my own decisions. Never once at the age of 18 did I consider ‘what will these tattoos look like when I’m older?’ Now almost two decades later, I’m wondering I can’t help but ponder that very question.

17 tattooed seniors citizens have geared up (or rather stripped down) to add insight to this very question. Get ready to feast your eyes, because this, my tatted up friends, could be what you look like when you’re older. Click Here to view photos courtesy of
