Fifth Harmony has decided to take some time apart from one another for one very simple reason: solo careers. Camila Cabello‘s departure from the group has paid off big time in her favor as she not only created a pop smash with “Havana,” she had her own tour and stellar debut album. Combine that with Normani getting her own solo turn with Khalid on “Love Lies” and the group feels now is the perfect time for everyone to try and earn individual success.
In a letter shared to Twitter, the group wrote, “After six years gong hard, non stop, we also realized that in order to stay authentic to ourselves and to you, we do need to take some time for now to go on hiatus from Fifth Harmony in order to pursue solo endeavors.”
Unlike One Direction, it appears that the Fifth Harmony quartet will get back together once everyone gets their own individual taste of freedom as they state further along in the letter, “In doing this, we are allowing ourselves to gain new experiences, strengths, and perspectives that we can bring back to our Fifth Harmony family.”
