After breaking out to become Netflix’s latest hit series, Stranger Things cast members are about to cash out on their success. After the first two seasons were negotiated together, the third season saw the cast get massive pay raises broken down into tiers.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Winona Ryder (Joyce) and David Harbour (Jim Hopper) are the “A tier” and will make up to $350,000 an episode. The “B tier,” consisting of the young stars Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) and Noah Schnapp (Will) will each be collecting $250,000 per episode. Meanwhile, lesser characters, the on-screen teenager group of Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan) and Joe Keery (Steve) will be pocketing an estimated $150,000 per episode.
What is unclear is the pay raise for the leading star of Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven). She’s reportedly to be making somewhere in between the “A tier” and “B tier,” higher than the boys of the show but less than Harbour and Ryder. Regardless, its a huge salary increase — about 1,150 percent as they were only making $20,000 per episode.
Season 3 of the hit series is set to begin production in April.
