Here’s how you don’t impress your crush — you don’t rob a bank for her!
That’s what happened last week as diehard Taylor Swift fan Bruce Rowley went all “Look What You Made Me Do” last week in Ansonia, CT. He was arrested after cops say he confessed to robbing a bank and then driving to Swift’s house and began throwing some of the money that he stole over her fence. This, is how he thought he’d win her over, according to a police report obtained by TMZ.
According to the police, Rowley allegedly entered a bank and demanded money from a teller, all without showing a weapon or making any threats. The teller turned over an unspecified amount of cash and Rowley left. Cops then say after Rowley was spotted by state troopers in Rhode Island, the suspect led them on a chase across state lines into Connecticut, that he tried contacting the Reputation singer but that she wasn’t home.
Rowley was booked for second degree robbery and fourth degree larceny.
