His self-titled third album hit the top of the Billboard 200 charts, selling 182,000 equivalent units in its first week of release and officially made him the third youngest artist to ever have three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200. The album not only achieved the second largest sales week for a pop album in 2018, it earned one of the 5 best album sales weeks in 2018.
Mendes will be hitting the road for a world tour next year with a stop in Houston next July!
