The numbers don’t lie.

Tidal, a Top 20 iPhone app in the United States two week ago, is no longer one of the top 700 apps for the carrier, according to BGR

Jay Z’s new streaming service venture announced in March that it would be paying artists a higher royalty rate than Spotify and Pandora. Shares of Aspiro, the parent company of the Swedish music streaming service Tidal that was purchased by Hov last month for $56 million, spiked 938%

Last week that Andy Chen, the CEO of Jay Z’s Aspiro, the parent company of the Swedish music streaming service Tidal that was purchased by Hov last month for $56 million, left the company.

As Tidal loses ground, Pandora and Spotify are now the #3 and #4 on iPhone’s revenue chart in the United States, respectively, the BGR story says. It doesn’t seem any easier for Tidal in the UK either – the app no longer sits in the top 500 of the iOS and Google Play Store charts.
