Bernice King, the daughter of the late Coretta Scott King, wants her mother’s letters, speeches, and commentary published.

During the event, actors, activists, and musicians will pay homage to Dr. King with recitations of his most revered speeches, as well as musical performances.

The 93-year-old activist was honored Thursday for his work in civil rights at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in Memphis, Tennessee.
