Kendra "Keni" Harrison broke the 28-year-old 100-meters hurdles record at the Müller Anniversary Games in London.

Many American professional athletes have opted to skip the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, due to the rising fears surrounding the Zika virus. According to USA Today, tennis powerhouse Serena Williams said she thinks it's “sad” that so many athletes are missing out on the opportunity.

The 18-year old African-American gymnast continues to have a historic year as she preps for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.

Nike, the official outfitter for the London Olympics, is coming under fire.  A Nike shirt that’s available for women is being called Sexist by  bloggers and many social networking individuals. The Olympic Nike t-shirts has the phrase “Gold Digging” emblazoned on the front.  Apparently only women–or female Olympians–are gold diggers.
